The Haisibi Pipe Jacking Project was located in the Shenzhen Bay. It was a key project of Shenzhen's "water management and quality improvement" program, and was of great significance to improving the water environment of Shenzhen Bay. The project would break through a 400.7-meter-long pipe jacking tunnel between Hisibi Shipyard and Nanhai Rose Garden Apartment, construct 4 operation shafts, install 2 sets of gate shafts, 1 integrated pumping station and welded 327-meter underground pipelines. The sewage interception at the main port and the construction of an integrated sewage pumping station would upgrade the dry season sewage interception to the municipal sewage system, thereby ensuring the environmentally friendly and sustainable development of Shenzhen Bay.

The tunnel project was constructed with the 1350 composite cutter rock pipe jacking machine independently developed and produced by Tangxing Machinery. The inner diameter of the tunnel is 1.26 meters. The geology was mainly composed of gravel cohesive soil, sand and construction waste. Since the construction began, the Tangxing technical team cooperated with the Hisibi Pipe Jacking Project Department to formulate thorough construction organization measures, continuously optimize the technical plan, rationally adjust the factors such as man, machine, and tools, increase the frequency of monitoring and measurement, and dynamically adjust the pipe jacking parameters , to ensure that the project safety, quality, progress and other indicators were under control.
