Difficulties: 1: Because the construction party did not do the geological survey in the early stage, the slurry model was selected. After being jacked in for 12 meters, the pebble could not be jacked in. Later, the Tangxing equipment rock MTBM was used to jack up again. However, due to the early extubation This leads to the subsidence of the ground, and the construction is difficult. 2: The geology is more complex, and the stratum changes greatly. First, the ordinary soil layer changes into a sand layer, then into a pebble layer, and finally into a sand layer.

Significance: This supporting project is an important part of the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. It is a municipal key project to ensure water safety, increase the urban water supply guarantee rate, and improve the urban water supply quality. It fundamentally solves the problem of single drinking water source in Pingdingshan urban area.
